Up Close with Dr. Haley Martinez Lewis

The summer of 2007 was a pivotal moment in my life. I had recently graduated Mosley High School and would soon be moving to Gainesville, Florida to attend the University of Florida. As most newly graduated high school students do, I searched for the perfect summer job and thankfully was provided an opportunity as a medical assistant at Dermatology Specialists of Florida. I was young and green and little did I know, it would lead to the discovery of my passion for dermatology and my hopes for one day returning to Dermatology Specialist of Florida.

Looking back on the experiences I’ve had growing up in Panama City, Florida, I realize they have shaped the person and physician I am today. I feel so strongly committed to caring for and giving back to the community that I have always been a part of. I’m excited to start this new chapter of my life along with my husband, Drew, an army pilot, and my one-year-old son, Aiden. We look forward to growing and raising our family in this wonderful community.
