Savannah earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies, with highest honors, from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida. Before becoming a physician assistant, she was an AAMA-certified medical assistant and an ACDT-certified dermatology technician. She developed a passion for the field of dermatology while working as a medical assistant at Dermatology Specialists of Alabama.
Savannah holds bachelor of science degrees in both biology and psychology from Troy University in Dothan, Alabama, where she excelled academically and was involved in community outreach student organizations. Before joining Dermatology Specialists of Alabama as a physician assistant, Savannah was a provider in neurology at Alabama Clinics in Dothan.
Savannah takes great pride in helping patients maintain their healthiest skin through diagnosis, education, and care. She’s also committed to making sure each patient understands their role in protecting their skin from sun exposure and reducing their chances of getting skin cancer. Savannah is a nationally certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
Outside of work, Savannah enjoys spending time outdoors and being actively involved in community outreach projects. She also enjoys fishing and plays several musical instruments.
