Emmy completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s in nursing at Samford: Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing in Birmingham, Alabama. Her diverse clinical experience includes working in the cardiac care unit at UAB Hospital, as an ICU RN, as well as a dental practice and two dermatology offices – one in Georgia and one in Alabama. Emmy also received comprehensive training and certification from The Injectable Academy in Atlanta, Georgia for administering Botox and Juvederm fillers.
She enjoys helping patients identify their various skin conditions and then working closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans. Emmy is also committed to educating her patients on the importance of understanding their post-procedure care and medication instructions when it comes to their skin conditions or disorders. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, a licensed registered nurse with the state of Georgia and a member of the Georgia Dermatology Physicians Assistants (GDPA).
Outside of work Emmy enjoys taking walks with her fiancé and Australian Shepherd.
