Brittany Cox, CRNP

Brittany earned her Master of Science, with a concentration in family nursing, at Troy University in Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. She has a background in urgent care and the critical care setting, with years of experience working in a Trauma/Neuro-Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Her interest in dermatology began during her work on her master’s degree when she came to the conclusion that this was the specialty where she wanted to focus her career. When not seeing patients independently, Brittany works alongside Dr. Ward assisting in Mohs micrographic surgery closures. She prides herself on being highly focused and driven by making sure to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care.

Brittany enjoys all areas of dermatological care including medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology as well as preventative care and patient education. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.

Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children.
