Amanda Burkett, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Amanda earned a Master of Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile and her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences from University of South Florida in Tampa. Her prior experience includes working as a registered nurse in endoscopy, psychiatry, OB/GYN and ER.

She is passionate about educating patients of all ages on skin health. Amanda prides herself on taking a 360-degree approach to dermatological care by combining conventional treatments and therapies with individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s specific skin conditions and needs. Her clinical interests include both medical and cosmetic dermatology, with an added focus on educating her patients on the importance of sun protection and what they can do to help prevent skin cancer.

Amanda is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network.

Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband Travis and their two children, with much of that time spent on the sidelines of soccer fields and basketball courts, where she can be found coaching or cheering them on. She also loves being outdoors- whether relaxing by the pool or riding four-wheelers. In quieter moments, she enjoys diving into creative arts and crafts projects, which give her a chance to unwind and express her creativity.
