One of my favorite books is William Osler’s A Way of Life. It’s his guidance to medical students on how to live the life of a physician in which a lot of his advice is about being available to the patient at the time of the visit - an ideal I strive to live up to daily. I owe a debt of gratitude to my alma mater, The University of Florida, and my professors there for encouraging me to be curious every day as well as to one of my mentors, Fred Mohs, who taught me about diligence and hard work. Dermatology Specialists of Georgia is an organization that values excellence and I am proud to be part of it knowing I can solely focus on what matters most to me - our patients.”
