Throughout my professional career I have embraced lifelong learning, and an appreciation for the arts, so that I can provide my patients the latest advances in scientific medicine delivered with good old-fashioned human kindness. Along the way, I have also been fortunate enough to be able to share my dermatology expertise by volunteering my time to medical education and serving in charity clinics. The first half of my professional life was devoted to solo practice, and now the second half with Dermatology Specialists of Florida. This allows me to help others even further, by freeing time from administrative tasks, to devote more time to patient care and volunteering in my community.
Dr. Freilich’s extensive experience includes running his solo dermatology practice in Orlando for over 16 years, running a multispecialty group practice, and an appointment as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. This experience also includes his work as a physician volunteer, providing pro bono dermatology care for those in need in Central Florida. His passion for delivering medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care makes him a true asset to both our practice and to the entire Tallahassee community.
Dr. Freilich earned his Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his dermatology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. He also enjoys serving on nonmedical museum/cultural boards, where he can help to enrich the arts and humanities of his community for present and future generationsReturn to provider list
